XCraft Rules and Regulations

The official rules and regulations of all XCraft platforms!

_{Note: This is not a comprehensive list of all rules or conduct subject to discipline on XCraft. The rules are intentionally broad in an effort to avoid an exhaustive list of rules for players to abide by, and instead allow players to conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the spirit in which the rules were written.}

Chat Rules

• Languages: The official language of XCraft is English. In-game communication in any language other than English should be limited to local chat, party chat, or messages.

• Spamming: Messages in-game and in Discord should be sent in a reasonable format at a reasonable pace. Repeatedly sending the same messages, abusing caps, punctuation, or deteriorating the quality of the chat is prohibited.

• Swearing: The official rating of XCraft is PG-13, and while swearing is not strictly prohibited, players are encouraged to keep foul language to a minimum. Any attempts to bypass the filter or other chat-control mechanisms, both in-game and in Discord, is prohibited.

• Harassment: Intentionally disturbing other players or the community at large in a manner detrimental to the overall player experience of the server is prohibited.

• Links: Refrain from sending any links in the in-game chat or Discord. This includes but is not limited to: websites, zip files, PDFs, or any other type of shared content. If you wish to share such content, utilize the media channel in our Discord server.

• Advertising: The promotion of any other Minecraft or Discord servers is prohibited. Do not post IP addresses, links, or any material that explicitly or implicitly advertises another server. If you are unsure if your potential conduct may violate this rule, please contact the XCraft Staff Team for further clarification.

• NSFW & Controversial Subjects: XCraft is a server for everyone, and as such, the discussion of NSFW material and controversial subjects should be avoided. This includes politics, religion, criminal conduct, etc.

• Necroposting: Necroposting is highly discouraged on XCraft. If you have a legitimate need to bring up old conversations, this rule will not be enforced against you.

Claim Rules

• Claim Gaps: Maintain a minimum 2-chunk (32 block) gap between your claims and neighboring claims. If you wish to maintain a smaller gap, you must obtain permission from the neighboring claim owner.

• Claim Blocking: Do not utilize the claim system to claim areas in a manner that blocks surrounding claims from expanding.

• Claim Inactivity: Players that demonstrate consistent inactivity for an extended period of time will render their claims subject to seizure and reset. Claim size, location, development, and regional impact, among other factors, are taken into account when administratively removing claims.

• Claim Priority: Older claims will receive priority over younger claims if the owner wishes to expand. Such requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by the XCraft Staff Team.

In-Game Rules

• Griefing & Raiding: Destroying, stealing from, or altering the creations of other players without explicit permission is prohibited. This applies to all player-made structures, both claimed and un-claimed. If you wish to take over an unclaimed area, please submit a ticket to the XCraft Staff Team for further support.

• AFK Conduct: While players are allowed to AFK on XCraft, extended periods of inactivity are discouraged, especially in the context of AFK farming. The majority of your playtime on XCraft should be spent in active gameplay. Any apparatus used to bypass AFK status such as a chunk loader, redstone contraption, autoclicker, alternate account, or game exploit, is prohibited.

• Glitches & Exploits: Abuse of any unintended feature on XCraft is prohibited. Please report any glitches, bugs, or other unusual game mechanics to the XCraft Staff Team.

• Client Modifications: Hacked clients or other client modifications that provide unfair advantages or enable the use of restricted functionality or utility on XCraft Survival are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: X-Ray, autoclickers, macros, fly Hacks, baritone, etc.

• Stalking: Do not follow around players whom you are not in active gameplay with or who do not wish to play with you. This behavior is player harassment and is prohibited.

• Builds: All builds on XCraft should be SFW. Creating explicit imagery, sculptures, or any other type of obscene material is prohibited. If you wouldn't show it to your mother, don't show it to us.
