Prologue: Seismology
(October - December 2024)
The Restless Earth beneath Castle Town
- An earthquake occurs under Spawn City Castle Town. The damage from this earthquake is found to be negligible, but reveals a small system of caves that run beneath the city, filled with small clusters of pale amethyst crystals.
The Wizard Wakes
- An unnamed citizen stumbles across a heavily damaged quartz structure buried within the newly opened caves. Inside is a single glass tube containing an unconscious Everrius.
Arrival of the Erstlanzer
- The unnamed citizen wakes Everrius, and is given a small gift from the destroyed underground lab in thanks. He then leaves Castle Town and disappears into the wastes. Citizens later report sightings of a red and white ship in the skies northeast of Castle Town.
The Crystite Infestation
- The crystalline formations revealed by the earthquake are found to be spreading under Castle Town. Everrius returns to the city aboard his vessel and begins scanning the cave system.
The A.D.A.M.s make contact
- A strange A.D.A.M. appears and begins communicating with Gormbhalian citizens.

The Empires come to Castle Town
- The Turtle and Opium Empires take note of elevated radiation emissions under Castle Town and send detachments to investigate. On arrival, both independently discover Everrius's scanning operation and dispatch tooling and industrial equipment to determine if his presence is part of the cause.
